Valley needs a big dig to capitalize on El Niño
The science is in on the coming El Niño and the probability sits at 95 percent.
It’s also on track to be the biggest El Niño ever. We have a lot of catching up to do as far as water is concerned so, if you were planning on digging catch ponds, the time to do that is now. We need to catch every drop and get it back into our severely depleted aquifers. Even small catch ponds, so get out there and dig, San Joaquin Valley!
