Smart & Final employees donate time, labor to the neighborhood
Thank you to the new employees of the soon-to-open Smart & Final store, at the northwest corner of Clinton and Blackstone avenues (vacated by Save Mart), for volunteering on Sept. 12 to clean up the Princeton neighborhood park. Their efforts are much appreciated as is the Smart & Final’s management’s commitment to continue such efforts in the future.
Where is Mayor Ashley Swearengin’s mystery developer for the still-vacant and deteriorating southwest corner of Clinton and Blackstone avenues, which would have been better served by the design favored by Smart & Final?
