Meddling Western nations should accept Mideast refugees

The flood of refugees escaping the Middle East at his moment is the largest human displacement since the end of the Second World War.

The major Western powers – the United States, Britain, France and Germany – should be congratulated in finally accepting these political victims who simply want to live their lives in peace. But make no mistake. These are the very same countries which over the course of the last 100 years have meddled constantly in the internal affairs of the Middle East.

The Western powers are responsible for the political instability in the Middle East and have caused the need for these people to now flee their native countries. Accepting these poor refugees in their borders is the least they should do.
