Why must county bureaucrats overcharge taxpayers in traffic court?

In response to Carl Pederson’s experience with the traffic court, there were nine fees involved with a simple traffic violation.

How much is enough? Are we so starved for revenue that we make up nonsense fees for minor offenses? How many times must the county bureaucrats overcharge citizens who pay taxes that already gouge them?

All of this nonsense costs the county a lot of money for the court, paperwork etc. My big question here is, “Are there actually humans who drive cars and live in our community making up these incredible fees?” If there are, we need to make a change.
