I feel beautiful again

I am a 90-year-old woman who walks with the aid of a walker. The other day, I was shopping at Trader Joe’s when another elderly woman approached me and told me I was beautiful.

I was so surprised and delighted; I did not know what to say. Upon checking out, the elderly woman’s granddaughter came up to me holding a dozen roses saying they were from her grandmother, with whom she was shopping. This added to my surprise, I could not believe it.

This experience has made such a difference in the way I feel about myself. I feel cared for, and I feel beautiful again. It was such a simple, but amazing gift that I wanted to share it with the community.

I am hoping this woman will read my story and recognize how the gift she gave me has impacted my life. I want the community to know how even a little gesture can change a person’s perspective and brighten their day! I am still glowing from the compliment and gift!
