Support Iran nuke deal

The Iran nuclear deal was negotiated by six great countries in the world and endorsed by the United Nations. People all over the world must see through our actions that we are acting wisely rather than reacting unwisely out of fear. Our citizens should know that this deal does achieve our most important objectives while neither we, nor our allies, are constrained or they would not have agreed.

Fear mongering to obstruct this deal is not the way to peace. In September 2012, two weeks after Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that Iran was a year away from producing a nuclear bomb, Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency said, “it does not appear to be ready” to enrich uranium to levels needed for a nuclear bomb. Iran at this stage is not performing the activity necessary to produce weapons.”

Our past failed military actions in the Middle East based on fear mongering have not led to peace, rather to chaos, destruction and the continuing rise of enemies that did not exist before. Let’s give negotiation the chance to succeed while at the same time remaining vigilant. There is no better alternative for those who seek peace.

Think, consider, support it.
