Health care is human right

Medicare and Medi-Cal have been around for 50 years, and they are, as The Bee reports, “bedrocks of the American medical system.” But far too many of our neighbors in the Valley are blocked from health care services because of their status, and it’s simply not right.

Undocumented residents work hard and are the backbone of the world’s most prosperous ag economy.

They’ve earned the right to be covered and health care is a human right.
