What if?

Much has been made of the tragic shooting of a “beautiful young woman” in San Francisco. My question is this: If the victim had been a 65-year-old homeless man, who hadn’t been able to bathe for a couple of weeks, whose clothes were dirty, and who had no family, would the response have been the same?

Would Congress be taking up legislation to prohibit sanctuary cities, as San Francisco is? Would the shooting of a homeless man become a topic of the Republican presidential campaign?
