Show respect
The letter by Francis Greilich (July 27) expressed clearly my opinion about church attire. Dressing nicely shows respect. I find it hard to understand why followers of Jesus feel they need to follow the culture of the day regarding dress for those on the platform. Jeans and sloppy T-shirts certainly do not present an aura of respect.
Now, before anyone wants to refute with “God doesn’t care how we dress,” maybe so. I just happen to like respect visually demonstrated as well as verbally expressed.
