Democrats, Republicans debate Trump’s indictment and each party’s impact on America | Opinion
Shoe on the other foot now?
Remember in 2015 when Hillary Clinton was being investigated for her emails? During that time conservatives repeatedly chanted “Lock her up.” They gave the same treatment to Bill Clinton and Barrack Obama for perceived wrongdoings. So, from that it would appear that Republicans have no reservations about incarcerating politicians who commit crimes.
However, it appears that conservatives have now changed their minds since the politician in question is ex-President Trump. A guy who jeopardized our national security by bringing hundreds of highly classified documents to his place of residence and then storing them in unsecured locations. Some of these documents are alleged to have contained information on our nuclear program. Further, the government had to get a warrant to enter Mar-A-Lago to secure these files because Mr. Trump refused to turn all of them over.
Recently Mr. Trump stated that he considers all of these classified documents to be his personal property, failing to realize that these files actually belong to the American people. The recent indictment on this matter may well lead to a felony conviction for Mr. Trump. I would hope that conservatives remember the words they used on the Clintons and Mr. Obama.

Judicial system in concert with Dems
By now I think we all realize that the judicial system is not only the enemy of the American people, but is a tool of the Democratic party led by President Biden and his family to defame Donald Trump and any Republican that threatens their march to convert this great capitalist country full of opportunity to a socialist system that has never worked.
As I have said many times to my Republican colleagues, we as a party need to ignore their many trespasses against us but lie and cheat as they have done these past two years to a unintelligent and misinformed Democrat party with their hands out for the promises this corrupt administration cannot deliver.

Liberals work hard to protect Biden
“The House GOP probes are a joke…” The recent commentary reflects the fact that the progressive left is increasingly scared by the revelations about President Biden’s administration.
Growing evidence says that members of the president’s family were given millions by foreign agents for dubious and possibly illegal purposes. Granted, nothing has been linked to the president yet, but the White House is dodging questions about corruption and the FBI is withholding documents which allege Mr. Biden received bribes.
Likewise, the left is attacking the Durham report on the Russia-Trump collusion hoax, as well as whistleblowers who testified how the FBI and Justice Department are dragging out the Hunter Biden laptop investigation and intimidating critics.
Reputable journalists who revealed the Twitter files suggesting collusion between the 2020 Biden campaign and social media were denounced by the Democrats and harassed by the IRS. As such, the House probes are hardly a joke; they point to a Democratic cabal using federal agencies to conceal wrongdoings and denigrate and silence those who challenge them. The “joke” commentary, among many others, is a clear sign of the desperation by the left and its media allies to keep the American people ignorant of the Biden regime’s true nature.

Noisy well plagues childhood home
I have been trying to get help for years about a well they built next to the house I grew up in and raised my kids in as well, and I never intended to leave it. The well emits this terrible high pitched noise 24/7. I have been met with false promises of remediation after being sent from department to department.
The noise was damaging my mental and physical health. There’s so many things I went through trying to get this illegal nuisance stopped, with no avail.
I finally had to give up and spent all my life savings getting a home. My elderly mom still lives there — it’s her first home she and my dad, who passed when I was 16, purchased together. She doesn’t want to leave, but I can tell she’s getting very sick over it.
My neighbor on the other side of the well is getting very sick as well. I’ve researched what continuous noise at those levels can do and it’s like they were talking about me.
BTW all those effects have diminished now that I’m not there. It only took my entire life savings to achieve something that is a right in California.

Youth push climate change effort
Sending a big thank you to everyone who contributed to the travel costs of sending five Valley students from Clovis North, Fresno State and other schools to represent us in meetings at the offices of our members of Congress in Washington, D.C. on June 12 . Maybe you donated items or shopped at the Citizens’ Climate Lobby yard sale on Earth Day, or maybe you made a donation some other way. If so, you helped send this dream team of smart and compassionate young people to advocate for bipartisan solutions to lower the greenhouse gas emissions that are causing air pollution and climate chaos.
Rising temperatures affect us all. In our Valley we see trouble with agriculture and air quality, drought, increased size and intensity of wildfire, health risks for outdoor workers and athletes, etc. What can be done? We need our leaders to support policies that will help us increase the pace of transition to clean energy, while promoting things like good forest and urban tree management, less waste and climate-smart agriculture.
This is what the youth are asking for to help protect our shared future.
