LGBT community only wants same benefits
Congratulations to the activists who have worked so hard and long to get this historic decision from the Supreme Court regarding equality for all.
To the Christians, this is not about trying to undo your doctrines and teachings, this is about equality, and isn’t that how everyone wants to be treated?
We in the LGBT community only want the same benefits afforded to everyone else. We have families, pay our taxes, participate in our democracy by registering and voting. Should we not be treated like everyone else?
Christians should be praying for tolerance, and we should all be tolerant of their believes. We in the LGBT community do not infringe on what the church believes. Is not being treated equal and not judging a basic tenant of the Christian church?
Now let us all demonstrate our love for humanity in what we do, not in meaningless rhetoric.
