Cure for COVID-19? Good ol’ Lysol
I found an old Lysol can, and as I was reading it, it said that it kills the coronavirus.
So how long has this virus been around? Obviously, for quite a while.

Local money best for local race
Fundraising reports show David Valadao with a lead over incumbent TJ Cox, and I am so happy to see the Hanford Sentinel report 56% of Valadao’s donations came from the Central Valley. We all know TJ Cox doesn’t come anywhere close to that statistic.
In 2018, our election was bought by big, out-of-state donors that bused in activists from the Bay Area and paid them to knock on our doors and harvest our ballots and spin lies too many believed. This year will be different.
Big, out-of-state donors are still bank-rolling Cox’s campaign as seen from the recent fundraising report, and Bay Area activists have already been in our neighborhoods parading their propaganda door-to-door. But this year is already different.
After a year of scandal, lack of representation, and disappointment from Cox, the Central Valley is speaking up, and we’re putting our money where our mouth is. Even more than that, we’re ready to dispel the lies and talk to our own neighbors and friends about what benefits us — not the Bay Area, not D.C., and not some out-of-town politician.

Starbucks is meeting demand
The article “Recent decision by Starbucks shows the dairy industry must adapt to today’s marketplace” by Tyler Ribeiro states that Starbucks is using the reduction of dairy products to gain public interest, and their intentions is for profit due to the popular trend of animal product reduction.
Although the rise of people reducing their animal product intake is increasing, it is not due to it being a trend. Those taking the initiative to make these decisions should at least be respected for what they are standing up for, which is the animal cruelty that the dairy industry causes. They do not want to be labeled as a trend for their efforts. Starbucks is just another supporter for this cause.
Starbucks offers four dairy-free options, unlike other coffee shops that only offer only one type of alternative milk. As stated in the article “It seems that major corporations have just caught on that being ‘green’ is profitable.’’ Starbucks is an accommodating company and would not be offering so many options to their customers if it was for profit.

Dark sides to living in California
After living 20-plus years in California, let me tell you, it is not as great as many people believe it to be. Yes, California has beautiful coastal views, beaches, and plenty of great adventurous destinations. However, everything we see is just a perspective, not the truth.
What is true, though, is that recently we have had numerous amounts of wildfires . In 2019, we had a total of 7,860 fires, according to Cal-fire. These fires are destroying homes, hurting our economy, and affecting human health as well as the wildlife.
Not everything is as good as it seems. The views of this state are beautiful, but once you get to experience living in this state, you notice all the disadvantages of it. California’s drug use has been rising. In addition , poverty is also exploding . Homeless people are creating large tent cities all over , it just keeps on getting more and more chaotic every year .
I bet there is not a perfect state, but there are much safer and peaceful states to live in, and California is not one of them.
