Emperor Gavin and expensive gas
It was rather humorous reading the article from the emperor, Gavin the Nuisance, about the gasoline industry conspiracy on high-priced gasoline. His response was funnier than your comics section!
The emperor of California should know the reasons why, for during the last eight years of Moonbeam’s reign and during his time as emperor, the majority “Spend-and-Tax-and-Tax-Again” Party has increased regulations, demanded a summer/winter gasoline blend, and increased gas taxes to pay for roads and bridges every opportunity. Have you, I ask, seen improvements in these areas?
Perhaps the emperor should visit the Carolinas, where gas in the beach resort town of Myrtle Beach averages $2.19/gal. for regular and up the road in NC at Wrightsville Beach the price is $2.29/gal. And the roads are pristine compared to our freeways.
So, Emperor Gavin, where does our money go? Should we demand an audit to see the obvious deviations from state law?

Note to Trump: U.S. doesn’t cut and run
Imagine D-Day in June 6, 1944, when 160,000 American, British, and Canadian airborne troops, and other allied infantry and armored divisions began landing on the coast of France at Normandy at 6:30 a.m.
What if President Franklin D. Roosevelt had called Adolf Hitler the day before, then the very next day on D-Day pulled all American troops from the coast of France from Normandy, leaving the allies alone to fight off Hitler..
Had that happened, how would we feel now, America? Would we feel proud, the way President Trump feels proud, now, about pulling out of Syria and leaving the Kurds alone to fight Turkey?
There’s definitely shame here, America, Our armies are not trained to “cut and run.”
Unless of course, Trump simply got affected with a sudden “bone-spur” affliction.

Trump should stop playing games
I am what you would call a senior citizen. Yes, my experience with killing and displacing of families goes back to WW II, so I’ve had the time to watch what is happening overseas in the Near East.
With politics, the primary game people play is to control land and steal money from the people they control, so it is easy to see all the games being played by those who run the country.
Our president, who has a insatiable appetite for money and power, has injected himself and his people into helping Turkey and Russia primarily, allowing them to garner land under the control of the Kurds. Why?
Take a look in downtown Ankara, Turkey.. There are two tall buildings with a sign on the top saying “Trump Towers.” Also, can you smell the rich oil fields? Think there is a relationship? Now with Putin on the scene, and Trump’s relationship with him, it was easy to see that the land each wanted would be taken by genocide of the Kurds who fought and protected U.S. Troops there. Now, our wonderful president has pulled our troops back, leaving thousands of families running away to find sanctuary somewhere. A disaster.
I cannot wait for the date when I will see our president’s luggage on the front steps of the White House, waiting for a cab to take him to the airport to go back to Trump Towers in New York, to wait for the authorities there pick up the ball on many items of financial games he played.

Officer chased a murder suspect
First of all, anytime someone is killed, it is a tragic event. However, who is really responsible for this “unarmed 16 year old” being shot? Is it the officer who was doing his job in chasing down someone who was believed to be involved in a previous homicide? Or was it a 16 year old who was believed to be armed, had been previously involved in a homicide with his brother, and attempting to avoid being arrested by the police?
Every time the use of force is used on a "person of color", the same community activists quickly put the blame on the officers, instead of placing it where it belongs, on the individual who commits the crime and does not comply with the officers' instructions.
As far as the person being 16 years old, a person of that age can kill someone just as quickly as a 40 year old. Just ask the family of the homicide victim this 16 year old was involved in committing. Who knows how many injuries or additional homicides the officer prevented from occurring by doing what he had to do to prevent the 16 year old from escaping.
