Mind of Trump: Letters to the editor, April 1, 2019
Trump will act like a supreme leader
“It is done then.” The resounding statement made in the “Star Wars” saga defining the triumph of the Republic in the Senate.
Trump now feels fully vindicated in his “triumph.” As in the Star Wars movies, this nation has plunged into a “war” of sorts between good and evil. Trump will now seek out and try to destroy those who opposed him in his thirst and quest for power.
I have no doubt that he will seek out and attempt to destroy those he believes “wronged him.” It is sad indeed that we have a “Supreme Leader” that places his wants and thirst for power ahead of the needs of this country.
The Republican Party will now forge ahead to install its “agenda” whether it is in the best interest of this country or not. Their agenda is all that matters to them. Our Founding Fathers must be rolling over in their graves viewing the destruction of democracy and decency.
It is tragic that the lemmings supporting Trump will continue to support him until he leads them to drown in his ocean. The solution is to vote in 2020 and simply vote this incompetent buffoon out of office.

All road lead back to Democrats
How does the Democratic party and it’s acolytes, the pretentious talking heads of network TV and the liberal intelligentsia of the print media, who have spent the last two years calling for the president’s prosecution, impeachment and imminent arrest, get that embarrassing “win” for the Trump administration off the front page?
Easy! Just get one of their fellow travelers to drop the case against Jussie Smollett! In politics, if it happens, it was planned that way! All roads lead to Obama, Hillary and Pelosi.

Not understanding mind of Trump
Yes, as I shook my head, I said to myself, I know all about the black hole in space, but unfortunately I do not understand our president.
When Trump was vying for the position of president, he yelled and screamed from every corner, “We will build a wall on the southern border and Mexico will pay for it.” It’s been rejected by many in Congress, and so far no wall, and Mexico sent a few chosen words stating Mexico will not pay.
Now our president has come out with the brilliant comment that they will eliminate the Obama health care program.. This brilliant idea, that he probably woke up with, would not only cancel pre-existing conditions, but eliminate millions from health care. Health care would be turned over to insurance companies, and I don’t have to tell you that the CEOs of insurance companies are rubbing their hands together.

Birds and feathers and Trump
What has the summary of the Mueller report taught us? Although no one in our president’s orbit agreed to conspire with the Russians to affect our elections, they were willingly wooed by Russian operatives, gleefully dancing the collusion two-step. There are actions constituting potential obstruction of justice the public doesn’t know about, sketchy enough that this charge was left in limbo.
The president surrounds himself with criminal fraudsters and cheaters; birds of a feather flock together. All this may not constitute crimes or felonies — but it still stinks like it.
