Let the people read the report

Now that the Mueller report has been completed and reviewed by one of Trump’s appointed underlings (William Barr), it will be crucial for the heart and soul of this country to be allowed the kind of transparency that can restore some of the faith in our political system. It is imperative that Barr disclose to the American people the “truth and nothing but the truth.”

To not do so undermines and threatens the very foundation and fundamental principles upon which this nation was founded. Anything less is a slap in the face to our democratic principles and our individual freedoms as outlined by our Founding Fathers when the original Constitution was so brilliantly created and has been our guiding light since first written in the late 1700s. It is an enduring document that is being attacked by a group of self-righteous politicians hell-bent on creating this country in Donald Trump’s image.

An image that cavorts with Russian oligarchs, criminal political and corporate America, and undermines our political processes and freedoms.

Since it appears that the Mueller report may not have unearthed any indictable acts, the next best thing is to simply vote Trump out of office in 2020.

Old men, your time is coming

It does no good to dismiss Trump’s crimes, nor wave them away. Even Senate Republicans have turned a blind eye to the end of democratic norms. They must know they have little time left under an umbrella full of holes as justice pours the hot rain of retribution on their heads. But they are mostly old men who have perfected the art of doing nothing while appearing dynamic.

Under Trump our country is divided between the haters and the confused. The Senate has stopped legislating and has turned its power over to the president. Teenagers are marching in the streets all over the world demanding a halt to the burning of fossil fuels urged by the realization that old men and women are destroying planet Earth. Their energy comes from a feeling of self-preservation. So watch 2020 and we will see many of the old men forced to retire and see the youth take over.

Devin Nunes is the greatest

I just renewed my subscription to The Bee but I cannot understand why all you socialists continue to put items in your paper downgrading Devin Nunes, who is the greatest person we have representing us.

Making fun of him is a terrible thing. Why can’t you socialists get off his back and see all the good things he has done? Anymore of this and I will again drop my subscription to your socialist paper.

Remember, socialism is great until the money runs out, and this is where you are helping to send us. God, I can’t believe this.

Follow the billing records

As a conservative and taxpayer I’m not celebrating the release of the “Blue State Special” counsel report from the so-called virtuous Robert Mueller and his troops, even if it vindicates President Trump.

As a nation we’ve been hosed on many levels. Here is what I would like to see happen after triangle watching “Law and Order,” Fox News and The movie “The Firm” one rainy afternoon.

You can bet these high paid counsel lawyers were meeting at breakfast, lunch and dinner, billing the taxpayer for every breath they took. So show us where all the money goes in a case like this. Paper, printer ink, comfy chairs? Show us the paperwork. Then, if you remember how Tom Cruise aka. Mitch in “The Firm” nailed the dishonest lawyers in the law firm, it was through their billing records. They were overbilling their customers. Ten years per offense. Oh yes, show us the billing records.
