Shower savers
I totally agree with the letter from David Paul (May 25). My husband and I began saving water, since the drought.
We both use a five-gallon bucket in our showers, to catch the wasted water that goes down the drain, while waiting for hot water. Between us both, we save about 15 gallons a week. So do the math and it adds up to a lot of wasted water.
We have been able to use the saved water for our outdoor plants and our vegetable garden. Maybe if people took a little more of an effort to save water, it would make a “big” difference in the water shortage. Use wisely.
