Nike’s factories
The president said that if the Pacific Rim Trade Agreement goes through Nike has said that it would open more businesses in the United States. Nike did not say it would close its factories in Vietnam or Indonesia where it employs 300,000 who work for 50 cents an hour under horrendous working conditions.
Maybe we should boycott Nike shoes. What do people in Fresno think? Maybe protesting would start to improve how big business treats the middle class. Protesting seems to be getting results on changing police procedures.
