Celebrate free speech
We Americans live by an open speech principle that is free, candid, frank and unrestricted. Any voice may be heard. No one is forcing anyone to listen. Some who listen agree and others who listen do not agree.
Can you imagine living in a country that makes you so fearful you cannot voice your own thoughts? God forbid this type of fear ever comes to America!
Why should I parse my words because my opinions would differ with another and he or she be “offended” because I thought they were wrong and therefore, I should say nothing! That may be law in another country but, thankfully, it is not law here.
