March against Monsanto
The March Against Monsanto is a worldwide protest demanding the end of the corporate giant’s stranglehold on agriculture, its poisoning of the earth, and its infiltration of the highest levels of government. It is scheduled for this Saturday. Fresno’s assembly will take place at Blackstone and Nees avenues from 1-3 p.m.
I hope The Bee will report on this important issue, as information about Monsanto has been widely suppressed. The organic movement is growing, thanks to word of mouth and Facebook, but the mainstream media have so far been complicit in lulling the public into a false sense of security regarding our food. We, the people, desperately need to know that the company polluting our earth and water with its pesticides is also instrumental in designing our food and influencing our government’s regulatory policies.
Please shine a light on Monsanto’s history, its unethical practices, and its insidious takeover of the world’s food supply. Details: facebook.com/events/1555714271336609
