Splash park wastes water
I dreaded reading the article about the city’s new budget and their plan to renovate the parks, knowing what I would find. Sure enough I found it: a new splash park at Vinland.
Have they not caught on yet that we are in a drought situation? I have to let my investment in landscaping all die so they can have a new splash feature? Guess what, city? Water evaporates from the splash works faster than a swimming pool.
So how serious am I going to take the city on water use enforcement? Guess what? I’m not watering my front yard, city of Fresno. I am running a neighborhood splash park!
