He told it like it was
I was saddened to read of the passing of Bruce Farris. Fresno lost a golf reporter who had integrity, honesty and a zeal for “telling it like it is!”
We traveled with our daughter, Kathleen, extensively throughout our country and Canada for over eight years. Bruce followed her by foot or phone, always quoting her verbatim. Other reporters seemed to write what they wanted to hear rather than what she said. As she recalls, “Bruce spoiled me!”
