Oh, think of the opportunity! An invitation to be in the august company of the braggart groper of women, bedder of porn stars, defaulter of banks and employees, serial bankrupt, relentless ad-libber of certifiable lies, spewer of vulgarity at entire continents and peoples, champion of racists, inventor of facts, fouler of earth, sky, oceans and rivers.

Oh, the opportunity to say no, a thousand times no President Trump, because I represent a city of the salt of the earth, hard-working, honest folk, admirable business people and farmers, multitudes of the poor and endangered, and legions of young women and men who are making America great in spite of you.

But, not our mayor Lee Brand, sycophant extraordinaire, who willingly sat in the slurry of No. 45’s presence, our poor mayor forever the timid technocrat, never a principled leader.

Psst, Mayor, I hear Vladimir Putin, Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe and Rodrigo Duterte are coming to town, maybe you can still get an invite, eh?
