Nunes doesn’t know (or misleads) tax stats for his own district

I received a brochure from Rep. Devin Nunes, where he does a lot of patting his own back extolling the Tax Reform Act. He notes the typical family of four earning $76,658 per year will receive a $2,168 tax cut next year.

The median family income in his district is between $45,000 and $50,000 a year. So, no, they may see their paychecks reflect a bit lower rate and a few more dollars, but not what is claimed. And I wonder how many reading this document think they will get that back this year in April.

No, the taxes filed in April are for the 2017 fiscal year. Once again, Nunes makes grandiose and misleading claims.
