Divided States of America

When I met Trevor Carey from Power Talk Radio, I challenged his “Prius Driving Vegan Lefties” comments saying “I was a Prius-driving Independent.” We laughed. I listen to Trevor and and Sean Hannity because they are amusing, and they invite opposing views to their programs. My views sometimes change.

When my wife and daughter returned from the Philadelphia Democratic convention, we discussed how the election was stolen from Bernie Sanders. We hate “super delegates” and we challenge corporate Democrats for not supporting “single-payer” health care when true progressives and most Americans do.

Challenge Democrats on valid points, or support any conservative policy, and you will automatically hear the “I hate Trump” speech.

I emailed Rep. Devin Nunes last week about ways to help disabled veterans with health-insurance issues. His office called me the next day. I know that if I tell my friends on the left how impressed I was with his quick response, they will bash Nunes.

If I challenge any leftist view, I hear that “ the right is evil.” The left lost the 2016 election because hating the right wasn’t enough. Today blaming the Russians and the divisive rage against conservatives is also self-defeating.
