Try Storyland/Playland tax

I was very surprised to learn that Storyland and Playland are not part of the Fresno Chaffee Zoo, and that both are in financial trouble. I voted for Measure Z twice, believing that since these are contiguous to the zoo and are within Roeding Park, they were managed by the same folks who manage the zoo and would receive some of the Measure Z money. Mea culpa.

May I suggest that Fresno County loan the money needed to refurbish these areas as promptly as possible and allow the voters to levy a tiny sale tax, as we have done for the zoo and the county library, to provide capital for the future?
