It’s not what you say but how you say it that matters

I notice protesters for various causes speaking to the media and, also citizens speaking before our city councils. What I notice is not so much what they are saying but, how they say it. They speak rudely, disrespectfully, arrogantly and in a very self-righteous manner while condemning those to whom they are speaking.

Regardless of what they are actually saying, what I see them saying is “I’m right, and you’re wrong” instead of rationally and sensibly proposing solutions to what they deem is in need of repair.

Satan is a masterful deceiver. All he has to do is tweak our prideful sense of self-righteousness, and he can lead us anywhere.
