Happy days are here again … or are they?

Finally, “The biggest tax cut in history!” Corporations are going to bring cash back from overseas. Corporations will create jobs, but not just jobs, well-paying jobs.

President Trump said last Wednesday, “Workers will have two or three jobs to choose from.” The average taxpayer will have at least a $100 monthly tax cut. One advocate said, “ They will be able to remodel their kitchen or set aside college funds for their children with this money.”

The rural communities will see a resurgence and prosper once again. Happy times are just around the corner. There will be 3 percent to 4 percent growth in our economy, which will pay for the tax cut and our national debt will start to recede.

I was told years ago by my parents, grandparents and teachers that if something is too good to be true, it probably isn’t true. Boy were they wrong!
