GOP tax cuts: *Scr-e-e-ams!*

In 1986 Ronald Reagan famously stated that the nine most terrifying words in the English language are “I’m from the government and I’m here to help.”

In light of the new Republican plan for a tax giveaway to the rich, we have a new contender for words that should inspire terror in middle-class taxpayers: “I’m from the Republican Party, and I’m here to cut your taxes.”
