Who decides we pay these unfair city fees?
I’ve been paying my bills online for quite some time now, and the City of Fresno is the only entity that I know of that charges a convenience fee, $2.94. My question is why? Maybe it’s because the administrators just think they can? Or can they?
Another erroneous fee is the water meter service charge. This is for the privilege of having a water meter, $15.80. Think of the total revenue citywide!
It looks as though we’re being taken advantage of. It’s another one of those principle things. Do we just pay it, or do we protest it? Just food for thought.
