Want a military firearm? Join state militia

27 people shot in a church, 58 shot at a concert.

Well who really cares? As a nation, we talk about our shock but we do nothing.

Congress talks about mental health problems and then tries its best to cut access to mental health care to millions of Americans.

Our president says some words about how bad it is, but within a day, forgets about it and tweets about how someone new has annoyed him and does nothing.

With every right in the Constitution comes a corresponding responsibility for citizens. We seldom see “leaders” stress responsibility along with individual freedom. Want a few ideas? Well comprehensive health care with mental health care included paid for by a sales tax on all goods and services (like every other first-world nation).

So all citizens and businesses kick in. You want to own a military style firearm? Then you must join a state civilian militia (yes, all states must create them from scratch).

Your responsibilities would be to aid in natural and civil disasters. Until we as a nation do something. Well, we do not care no matter how many innocent children, brothers, sisters, fathers, and mothers die.
