Protests help people release pent-up frustrations

Perhaps I am naive, but it seems as if most horrible actions around the country involve individuals who are frustrated and do not know how to protest. This weekend included attacks at a church where multiple injuries and loss of lives occurred and other activities where people who wanted to protest were denied that opportunity.

When avenues to protest are denied, people act out from the inability to make a impact on their problem. If you cannot be listened to, frustration ensues.

I hope that our authorities take into consideration the pent-up anger that many feel regarding inequality, underrepresentation, and other factors that are so frustrating to those who are either under-represented or, actually not represented in our government.

Let us take care to include everyone, from every area, from every socio-economic area, the ability to not only protest, but be part of any and all solutions.

My hope is that Fresno listens to everyone and acknowledges everyone regardless to their status or orientation.
