Fresno needs a green revolution to combat trash

While driving to Fresno, I can’t help but notice the trash accumulated near the highway. Today I noticed a plastic bag stuck on top of a tree, and I wish it could’ve been an easy reach for me to retrieve.

Public waste is a global phenomenon that is not perfectly controlled. Fresno needs ads to get the attention of locals on the knowledge of generating less waste. Knowing how to properly dispose of waste is also necessary since I believe most people don’t know how to do so.

It’s a social issue that needs to be addressed for better living conditions in Fresno. Small actions can be done by society to clean our streets and it can make a big difference

It begins with the knowledge of this serious and growing issue. Billboards targeting this matter can be placed in highly populated intersections to get the attention of the 522,000 people of this town. The expectation to maintain your hometown as free from unjustifiable litter in streets should be implemented to society, and Fresno is lacking this guidance.

I’m optimistic that Fresno will apply a “green revolution” to help combat this environmental dilemma.
