I would tell Bredefeld when to keep his mouth shut way cheaper than a lawyer

So now we the taxpayers are footing the bill for an attorney to advise Garry Bredefeld when to keep his mouth shut.

Sorry, but I think I could have done that at less expense. And what makes anyone think our local mini-Trump is going to heed his counsel? I should have voted for the Elvis impersonator. But I was specifically hoping not to be represented by a clown on the Fresno City Council.

Is it really too much to ask that taxpayer dollars should go toward sincere efforts to address the challenges and opportunities facing Fresno rather than dealing with political grandstanding?
