Giving the homeless tiny houses ‘would serve better’
Clovis does not need these tiny houses for their students. We should use theses small homes for the homeless. Clovis and Fresno have a serious problem that needs to be addressed before we get to a point of no return.
Most students already have places to live such as homes with family members. They also have a much greater chance of getting jobs, and they have the necessary resources to survive, unlike homeless people, who do not have that advantage.
If we gave these tiny homes to young adults, we are teaching them that they don't have to work for anything. The younger generation already feels entitled, like the world owes them something.
This is why helping the homeless would serve better. It would also fix a problem that we have with squatters taking over vacant homes.
These little homes would give homeless people the chance to get back on their feet. It also may give them hope.
