Don’t be shocked when it happens again

Well, America, you did it. You’ve created a monster and now you have to figure out how to live with it.

You’ve allowed for easy access and the purchase of the approximately 300 million guns in this country. In Las Vegas at last count, 59 dead and more then 400wounded by just one individual with his stock pile of guns.

With so many guns in this country, it’s only a matter of time before another deranged individual picks up their small armory of guns and proceeds to kill as many individuals as they can before they are forced to stop.

When the next mass shooting happens, we will hear the same old noise from the side wanting more gun control legislation and the other side opposed to any form of control. Both sides will stake out their reasoning, and the debate shall proceed over many months.

When the debate is over, and very little has been accomplished, the left will blame the right and the right will blame the left, while the sale of guns will steadily grow with each passing year.

So, America, don’t be shocked when it happens again, because the horse is long gone out of the barn and you’re still trying to close the door.
