Where was Trump’s tough talk during Charlottesville?
“I think it’s very disrespectful to our country,” President Trump said Sunday, regarding football games. “I think it’s very, very disrespectful to our flag.”
If only he had thought to say that very thing on Sunday, Aug. 13, after Charlottesville, Virginia, was invaded by armed “good folks” waving the flags of hostile foreign enemies like the Third Reich, fascist Italy and the Confederate States of America.
Perhaps if they had waved Ottoman Empire flags, he would have put some thought ahead of his speech. If only.
