Please don’t shoot innocent doves

Sept. 1 begins a season that leaves many with sad hearts, especially the doves. These defenseless birds are easy targets for your pleasure but why not allow them to live their lives in peace, the same as you would want?

By directing your energy and skills toward hunting expeditions that are cause-worthy yet challenging, you can satisfy your hunting needs without harming the innocents.

A group of us hunt dangerous, over-populated and destructive invasive species. we go after wild boars and Burmese pythons just to name a couple. Two of our guys wrestle alligators. All have some military experience whether they be male or female.

My daughter is doing her part by joining a research team huntong for more ways to eradicate the recent threatening species of nasty mosquitoes that have invaded our Valley.

There are so many wasy in which to spend spare time other than shooting doves and other birds for sport or a bit of meat. Too many people disregard the fact that birds such as doves are harmless creatures and choose life along with the opportunity to raise families. So we humans should do all we can to prevent them from being killed.
