Why didn’t previous presidents propose Confederate statues be removed?
After reading the piece by Fresno State professors Blain Roberts and Ethan Kytle (Unsure about Confederate statues? Ask yourself if you support white supremacy) I could not help but wonder why every American President of my lifetime: Kennedy, Ford, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, and Obama, failed to propose that Confederate statues be removed.
And then it hit me. They had to all have been white supremacists. Thanks for bring this to our attention, professors.
