“The love of money is the root of all evil.”

I watch with dismay as state after state, community after community, including right here in California, succumb to the lure of marijuana money. Talk about societal degeneration!

So comes the day our once-great country’s enemies come marching in. But there will be no fighting in the streets. Instead, the invaders will be greeted by a stoned populace surrounded by their dullard offspring, all of them grinning like idiots and offering joints to their new masters.

But being on the shady side of 80, I am thankful that I probably won’t live to see that sorry day.
