Our checks and balances are under attack
So far he’s fired the FBI director, the U.S. Attorney General and the Attorney General from New York, who were all investigating him. Now he intimates he can fire at will the independent investigator Robert Mueller and maybe it’s time for current U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions to go.
He’s trying to control an investigation of himself and intimidate the process with veiled threats. Guilty or not of colluding with Russia, what Trump’s doing to American due process by itself violates our three separate bodies of government and the checks and balances our Constitution set in place. He is not a king, it’s America.
