Start talking, stop yelling and compromise

Be careful America, remember the Civil War. It was a war fought, and a nation torn apart, because neither side was willing to compromise over slavery for their country’s sake. Without compromise there can be no democracy, only destruction.

Already we are seeing violence by one ideology against another and only a few people were injured. But what if the other side reciprocates, then groups of people, then sections of the country, ending in war and destruction? I know friends, even families, torn apart because of ideology.

We must get to the point where it’s OK if no one gets all they want and it’s OK if the opposing side gets some of what they want – compromise, for the survival of our country.

How divided have we become; and more importantly, how much division will it take before we succumb to self-destruction or conquest?

Wake up, America and start talking, not yelling at one another and urge Congress to do the same for the survival of our country. Those who realize the seriousness of where we are now can stem the tide.
