How much help would you give a dying stray dog?
The letter of Ilda Meachem, “Thanks for veterinarian’s compassion,” (June 12) was both disheartening and heartwarming. It was sad to read of the number of Fresno care resources that were unavailable to this dying little dog; so heartwarming to read of Ms. Meachem’s response to a “stray dog” in need and her attempts to find help.
I commend Waterhouse Veterinary Hospital for their response, based on compassion and care, not on money.
