More drive-thrus, more road rage. Great.
Wow, finally something from the Fresno City Council that not only makes complete sense, but is surely supported by anyone who maintains at least an iota of common sense. Drive-thrus.
The council has presented a clear, persuasive mandate for this Utopian city we lovingly refer to as FresYes. An increase of traffic congestion, parking-lot road rage, exhaust from idling automobiles and the accompanying accumulation of standing heat from those autos. These are just a few of the wonders we can look forward to.
Yes, the Utopian city of FresYes is only going to get better with the logical increase of drive-thru businesses.
To quote one of our honorable councilmen, “Our constituents demand to have access, easy access to banks, dry cleaners, Starbucks and McDonald’s. We’re not a city that’s trying to hide the fact that we’re on the move and we’re busy and we’re in a hurry.”
I humbly add that we are constituents who not only think for ourselves, but more importantly think of ourselves first.
Sarcasm, it’s one of my ways of coping.
