The American empire is no more

The decline of America’s stature in the world started with the Vietnam war, continued with our interference in South and Central America, and came to a crescendo with Iraq and Afghanistan.

Now with President Trump’s withdrawal from the Paris climate accord, the final chapter has been written. As China steps into the breach, the American empire has come to an end.
