Trump embarrasses U.S. – again
President Trump needs lessons in diplomacy. I’ve never met with NATO leaders, but I know enough not to shame them on the world stage by discussing who has and hasn’t paid their dues. That’s bookkeeping!
He foolishly squandered an opportunity to speak about the democratic principles the member countries share. He could have reminded the world that just as NATO nations came to our aide after 9/11, the policy is still in place: an attack on one will be responded to as an attack on all.
Unfortunately, he embarrassed us once again.
