Vote out greedy, heartless Valadao

There have been a lot of television ads run lately asking us to thank Republican Congressman David Valadao for supporting the House bill to repeal and replace Obamacare. I have to admit that it took a lot of guts to voluntarily want to own such an abomination.

In the ad, he states that people with pre-existing conditions will be covered, as they are now and that is a total lie. States will actually be able to opt out of that requirement, and can put people in high-risk pools that they may never be able to afford.

Also in the ad, we are told that they will be reducing taxes by a trillion dollars for job creation. That is Trump-speak for giving tax-breaks to the wealthiest Americans (which does not create jobs; it creates wealth for rich people). Those tax cuts will eliminate health care for around 20 million Americans. Maybe our president will be able to buy a new hotel with his savings.

The best way to “thank” Valadao for his wonderful health care plan is to vote him and his fellow greedy, heartless Republicans out of office in the next election.
