When liberals run amok, mainstream media is quiet
The coverage on Greg Gianforte’s attack on a journalist was unbelievable. I am sure most Republicans and conservatives don’t condone his behavior. That was not enough for the all-day reporting. There was much discussion blaming Trump, and demanding that Republicans disown Gianforte and not allow him to take a seat in Congress.
This is the reason the mainstream media get a bad reputation. There is never the same type of coverage when a Democrat or a liberal does and says outrageous things. The examples are too numerous to mention. But when riots broke out at Berkeley when Ann Coulter was scheduled to speak, not one person in the press asked the Democrats to condemn the behavior, nor did they condemn it. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz threatened Capitol police, I didn’t hear it reported.
Most recently,m the Democrats held their state convention. The leader shouted obscenities from the stage at President Trump and Republicans and stuck his middle finger in the air. Some in the crowd joined in and there were shouts and applause. There was little coverage of this on television, and no one asked the Democrats in Congress if they would disown those people. I did appreciate the article in The Bee.
