Making America great starts with us
Moral values refer to a set of principles that guide an individual on how to evaluate right versus wrong.
Speechifying in awe of U.S. values by our leaders is fallacious if the latest Gallup poll (May 22) finds that: 81 percent say the state of U.S. moral values is “only fair” or “poor,” and 77 percent say the state of moral values is getting worse – slipping to the lowest point in seven years.
Media that does not investigate but rather parrots administration’s lies, without investigation, presented as news, fail us. Is it any wonder our citizens have lost trust in all they once believed?
A foreign policy built on demonizing the leaders of other countries to promote regime changes through illegal wars based on manufactured evidence has failed, and it has incited terrorism. How do we end this?
No leader promising to make a country in a downhill spiral great can succeed unless we ourselves practice true moral values, then, rightfully, we can demand change.
