Fresno has turned ‘totally ghetto’
I observed last week at Shields Avenue and First Street, five or six adults with funeral donation signs. It was interesting to see this crew in the median going in and out of traffic. More so because a Fresno Police Department motorcycle cop sat on his BMW about 5 feet away and did nothing.
A few blocks down the road, toward the old Children’s Hospital, were two more Fresno PD cruisers. Passing directly in front of these two officers was a homeless man with at least three shopping carts loaded with recyclables. The homeless guy stopped to take a leak, while the officers were engaged in conversation.
Our elected city officials have passed laws for the betterment of Fresno. They address median begging, shopping-cart theft and recycled materials. I would assume urinating in public also has a statute attached.
Fresno has turned totally ghetto. We have officers who were hired to enforce laws not ignore them. My suggestion to the motor cop and the other two officers? Unprintable.
Welcome to Fresno.
