What role does pride play in our voting decisions?
Kudos to Andrew Fiala on his May 20 commentary on pride. He and Shakespeare got it right!
It made me think, and also wonder, about how we come to make decisions on who to vote for as president. Do we really use our reason and intelligence? Or do vote from our emotions and gut feelings about a person? Does our pride get in the way of making good, reasonable and logical decisions?
